The Cyprus Tax Department has announced an extension for the submission of the 2023 personal income tax return (Form TD1) and the payment of any taxes due. The new deadline is now set for 30 November 2024, providing taxpayers with additional time to fulfill their obligations without incurring penalties.
Who Is Required to File?
Individuals, including employees, pensioners, and self-employed persons not required to prepare audited financial statements, must submit a TD1 form if their annual gross income for 2023 exceeds €19,500.
How to File?
Taxpayers can submit their TD1 forms electronically through the TAXISnet system. Payments for any taxes due can be made through taxportal platform.
Avoiding Penalties
It’s crucial to adhere to the new deadline, as late submissions or payments may result in penalties and additional charges. Taxpayers are encouraged to complete their filings promptly to ensure compliance.
